Where I come from: Alto Lario, North Lake Como  and its Nature Reserves

Hi everybody,

here I would like explain better where my passion about sustainable tourism is from.

It’s the place where I was born fault!

I am from Lake Como, in Italy a very beautiful area. I am exactly on the north of this lake, well know because of Clooney house or Cernobbio’s Villa d’Este luxury hotel and congress center or because it is location of some amazing movie like Star Wars, Ocean’s Twelve and Casinò Royale.

But this is not all, there is another part in the north that is less known. This’s where I live and this territory is sorrounded by mountains and it’s wilder then the south. Only introducing my territory you can understand  why I must believe and develop  sustainable tourism!

My homeland is called Alto Lario and it’s

full of potential interesting for develop a sustainable tourism projects. Here you can do many outside sport and find two naturale reserves:

1. Piano lake Nature Reserve (Piano lake natural reserve)
2. Pian di Spagna e Mezzola lake natural Reserve
